Sergej Lebedev is a German type designer with over a decade of experience in developing contemporary font families and corporate type systems. He graduated in Communication Design from Trier University of Applied Sciences and specializes in creating extensive variable typefaces that balance aesthetics and functionality.
As an independent type designer, he has had his typefaces distributed through Linotype / Monotype. Among them are Client and Desk Sans, which were featured in Linoletter and on the Linotype website. His typefaces are used for branding by various companies. Selected typefaces are available for licensing through Type Network.
His portfolio comprises 16 font families with more than 240 individual fonts, including numerous variable designs. Among them are the elegant Aela, the versatile Coin font superfamily, and the modern App Sans.
